Gerald Cohen began his legal career as Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office’s Arson, Auto, and Economic Crimes Bureau. Mr. Cohen primarily investigated and prosecuted white collar crimes, including forged financial and government documents, asset forfeitures, money laundering, identity theft, insurance fraud, grand larceny, forgery, embezzlement, tax evasion, auto-theft, arson, robbery, child pornography and other cyber crimes. During his tenure in that office, Mr. Cohen took several cases to trial and represented the People in hundreds of matters in New York State Supreme Court.
